Billing Services

We accept Medicare, most HMO’s, most PPO’s and other insurance carriers.

Please check your insurance company’s provider directory to see if your physician is listed.

If your insurance carrier requires referral forms, please make certain that you obtain the necessary forms from your primary care or other referring physician prior to your visit.

As a service to you, our office staff will complete and submit the required claims to your insurance carrier for all your fees.

If you have any questions regarding fees or your insurance coverage, please call our Billing Department. We are always available and happy to discuss your account with you.

For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, checks and cash.

Please also be aware that your insurance policy is a contract between you and your insurance company. You are financially responsible to Gastrointestinal and Liver Diseases for non-payment of any fees not covered by your insurance.

You will receive a bill for the balance due after an insurance payment, which will be due upon receipt. If you need to make payment arrangements, please contact our billing department ahead of time to make these arrangements.

All laboratory and/or pathology testing services may be collected at our office, but the lab providing the services will generate a separate bill.


Procedure cancellation

Please give us at least 48 hours notice when canceling a procedure( M-F). A $50.00 charge will be applied for failure to do so.


Office appointment

Please give us at least 24 hours notice if you are unable to keep your office appointment, failure to do so will result in a $20.00 charge due at the time of your next visit.
